Ell's Ink&Switch research residency documentation

Other Reflections
I took time off of work and contracting to do a research residency with
Ink&Switch. It gave me space to
explore, collaborate, and share with others. I had a lovely time with the lab
folks.
I made some other math-y stuff, like
∞ number zoom tech demo,
poincaré disk driving and
curvature vis.
I participated in Alex Warth's
Prototyping Programming Languages class with others at the lab. I made an
interpreter for a functional programming language, a pattern matching DSL, a
source-to-source translator for an object-oriented programming language, and a
small prolog. It was wonderful!
Separate from the class, I made this
small REPL
and to be honest I forget how to use it.
"The best way to make it is the way you're thinking of right now"
- something I told myself during this period that helped me explore and
make things
"but most importantly, your abstraction is not based on examples or
applications"
